The Topponcino acts as a second set of arms, providing firm yet gentle support to the baby’s entire body. Whether the baby is being passed from one person to another or simply being held, the Topponcino helps keep your baby safe and comfortable, minimizing awkward or unsafe handling.
Most parents use the Topponcino during the newborn phase, as it offers much-needed support for both parents and baby. After your baby outgrows the need for consistent handling support, the Topponcino transitions perfectly into a soft, safe mat for tummy time, encouraging motor skill development. The mat provides a clean and familiar environment for your baby to explore.
Each Topponcino is crafted with layers of natural cotton batting, covered in a soft cotton muslin exterior. These materials ensure breathability, comfort, and safety. We avoid the use of synthetic fabrics like polyester, which can emit harmful chemicals and trap heat. Our organic Topponcinos are made from GOTS-certified cotton, ensuring the highest standards of organic production.
To clean your Topponcino, machine wash the cover in cold water with like colors and tumble dry on low. The insert, which is filled with natural cotton batting, should be spot-cleaned by hand to avoid bunching or shrinkage. If necessary, you can deep clean the insert, but this may result in slight shrinkage. Always lay the insert flat to dry to maintain its shape and softness.
As your baby outgrows the need for a holding pillow, the Topponcino seamlessly transitions into a tummy time mat. It offers a safe, clean surface where your baby can roll, kick, and crawl while developing important motor skills. The familiar texture and scent provide additional comfort during this important stage of growth.

Before your baby’s arrival, wash the Topponcino cover with your clothes to help it absorb the scent of your family. For an even smoother transition, sleep with the Topponcino in your bed for at least two weeks. This will ensure that when your baby uses the Topponcino for the first time, they will be surrounded by the comforting scent of their parents, making the transition into the world easier.
We take your baby’s safety seriously. All Topponcinos meet or exceed the safety standards set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). We use only natural cotton materials, avoiding harmful chemicals and synthetic fibers like polyester that can emit volatile organic compounds. Our rigorous quality checks ensure that each Topponcino is safe, comfortable, and suitable for newborns.
The Topponcino is unique because it provides a consistent environment for your baby, maintaining the same warmth, scent, and texture wherever they go. This consistency helps your baby feel safe and secure. Designed following Montessori principles, the Topponcino supports both physical handling and emotional bonding, making it a more thoughtful choice compared to other baby loungers.
As recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), NEVER use any baby lounger or support pillow as a sleep device. NEVER use any baby lounger or support pillow unsupervised. Use the Topponcino for actively engaging with your baby during supervised holding, lounging or tummy time. It is important to be in the same room and supervising your baby when using the Topponcino. During the night, use safe crib practices and do not use your Topponcino in, or in place of a crib. Never leave your baby unsupervised. Never use in a crib or other sleep device. Never place on soft or uneven surfaces. Baby loungers and support pillows should not be used as co sleeping devices. The safest place for a baby to sleep overnight is in a crib with a fitted sheet.

Shipping & Delivery

During checkout, you’ll see an estimated delivery date based on your location and shipping method. Orders with free shipping typically take 2-5 days to arrive, while expedited shipping options (1-3 days) offer faster delivery, similar to Amazon Prime speeds! Please note that your order may be split into multiple packages to get items to you quicker.
We’re excited to deliver to your location, wherever that may be. After checkout, you’ll receive tracking information, and delivery times will be estimated based on your location. Please note that duties and taxes may be charged upon delivery, and these are the responsibility of the customer. International orders are non-refundable, except in cases of product defects.

We offer free standard shipping for all orders of 2+ items within the United States. If you’re in a hurry, you can select expedited shipping at checkout, and we’ll show you the exact cost before you complete your purchase. International shipping fees will also be displayed during checkout.

The majority of our orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days. Delivery times will vary depending on your location, but you’ll be provided with an estimated delivery date at checkout.
99% of orders are processed and shipped within one business day. In the rare case that processing takes longer (due to payment issues, address verification, or product availability), we’ll reach out to you promptly to let you know.

Order Issues

If you accidentally entered the wrong shipping information, contact us right away. While many of our orders ship within just a few hours, we’ll do our best to catch it in time and update your address. If the order has already shipped, we’ll work with you on the next steps to ensure your package reaches you safely.
If you ordered the wrong item, please contact us immediately. Our fulfillment process moves quickly, but if your order hasn’t shipped yet, we can adjust it for you. The faster you reach out, the more likely we’ll be able to make changes before it’s too late!
If you need to cancel your order, reach out to us as soon as possible. Since most orders ship within a few hours, it’s important to act quickly. If the order hasn’t shipped yet, we’ll cancel it and refund your payment right away.
If you didn’t receive your order confirmation email, first check your spam or junk folder. If it’s not there, just reach out to us, and we’ll be happy to resend it to the email address you provided during checkout.
If your payment didn’t go through, double-check the billing information you entered, including your zip code. We recommend trying a different payment method, such as another credit card or PayPal. If you’ve tried multiple methods and are still having trouble, contact us, and we’ll help resolve the issue.
We understand how exciting it is to receive everything you’ve ordered for your little one! Sometimes, to deliver items more quickly, we may ship products from different warehouses, resulting in multiple packages. To make sure all your items are on their way, please check your order confirmation page for multiple tracking numbers. If there’s more than one, you should receive the rest of your order shortly. If you’re unsure or still missing items, feel free to contact us—we’re here to help!

Sometimes carriers mark packages as delivered when they are still in transit or awaiting final delivery. We recommend waiting 3 days as packages often show up within that time frame. If it’s been longer than 3 days and your package still hasn’t arrived, please reach out to us, and we’ll work with the carrier to track it down.

Sometimes tracking information may not update for a few days, even though your package is still en route. If there hasn’t been any update for 5 days, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to investigate the issue and ensure your package is on track for delivery.

Returns & Refunds

If you’re not completely satisfied, don’t worry—we’ll make it right. Contact us within 30 days of your purchase, and we’ll send you a free pre-paid return label (for US orders). Once we receive the item, we’ll process a full refund to your original payment method within 2 business days. For international customers, return shipping will be at your expense, and we cannot refund initial shipping costs.

Gift Purchases & Special Requests

We do not include prices on packing slips, so you don’t have to worry about your recipient seeing the cost of the item. Your gift will be a delightful surprise!
